Whatever material or construction, we will help to protect your garage door. We will apply the best paints via the most up-to-date processes. Prior to painting, we will clean the door, remove old paint from he whole door including those awkward nooks and crannies leaving a smooth surface and finish.
We will put dust sheets down and apply masking tape if and where required before sanding the door with a fine grit sandpaper. It’s all about the even, smooth finish. Handles will be removed before the thin coat of primer and top coats and put back in place after the paint is completely dried, or what we refer to as touch dry.
Metal garage doors are the most common, but that doesn’t mean we need to use metal primer, and no need for sugar soap or the old Hammerite garage door paint… things have moved on quite a lot since then! Once done, we will put the handle/s back, check you can shut and open the door and tidy up after ourselves.

Please note, we have specific processes to remove any dust and to prepare and wash the door ready for spraying. You won’t want the hassle of trying to do it yourself; opening your garage door using a step ladder to reach the top of the door and trying to prepare it with coarse sandpaper or a wire brush. We have our tried and tested processes to minimise mess and get the job done efficiently.
